Prime Purchases September 2018

Here's my random assortment of Prime Purchases from the last month.

First of all, a report back on this pedicure tool that I ordered last month. Love it! It really scrapes off the dead skin with no discomfort. You use it on dry skin, unlike a pumice stone. If you have hard callouses or cracked heels, this will be a lifesaver. And if you want to be grossed out, just take a look at the Amazon review photos.

A little history...we used the giant air travel hard-sided dog container as Albie's crate when he was a puppy. When he grew out of the puppy stage, we put it away and he didn't use a crate. But we thought it would be nice to have a less bulky crate for him for two reasons. First, during thunderstorms and fireworks, he really calms down a contained space. Second, if we ever have to evacuate or just travel with him, this will contain him in the car and hotel.

So we found this soft-sided model and love it! Obviously he does too. We leave it open, and he loves to go in and sleep. Note that you wouldn't want to use this for crate training a puppy or for a dog with destructive tendencies. But it is perfect for Albie.

Another blogger recommended this duo (can't remember who!), so I ordered the Seche Vite base and top coat. So far, so good!

I ordered this cozy sweatshirt for Grace from Walmart. It's really soft! (Brittany from Life as the Mrs. showed this as a dupe for the Nordstrom version.)

I am going to be reorganizing my recipe notebook this month. I use Pinterest, but I am still "old school" and like to have printed copies. I ordered a notebook, sheet protectors and dividers from Amazon to get started on this project.
