Welcome to the February edition of Prime Purchases...I'm so happy you're here! Come link your post with your latest online purchases and enjoy browsing through everyone's shopping finds. We talk about all things internet shopping on the first Tuesday each month.
You might remember that one of my new year's goals was to watch my spending. My credit card bill this month definitely reflected this, and my purchases were pretty minimal. One thing that really helped me control myself was just letting things sit in my online shopping cart for a few days. Many times, I ended up just deleting the item and didn't miss it at all. I also used Walmart Grocery pick up a few times, and that helped control impulse buys at Wally world.
Here's a look at what DID make it in my shopping cart this month...
We had a real cold snap this month, and I decided to update some of my cold weather clothes. I've seen this style of sweatshirt on Jane.com many times, but decided to get it from Amazon. I ordered navy with a light aqua monogram. I just noticed that this has a bad review, but I was very happy with the quality and service of the order! (Sizing: true-to-size unisex style)
I was seeing this fleece all over Instagram and blog land, and I decided to order one. To be honest, there are VERY few days I can wear this in Houston, but I'm still glad I got one. It's super cute, soft, and comfy! Free return with Prime! (Sizing: order one size up)
We saw a leash like this while we were out walking, and I thought it was a genius idea. It has an added handle about a foot from the collar. This is perfect for us because Albie tends to act aggressive when we pass some dogs. I just hold the closer handle while we pass, and it keeps him walking right next to me. I love it! Great quality.
This strainer will be great for ground meat or pasta. It seems to be very sturdy!
I got this book from the library, but it had SO much information in it that I decided to just get our own copy. I know we'll be using it through 2022!
I love the Secret Treasures pajamas from Walmart! When I saw this new spring edition, I ordered them immediately. The fabric is lightweight, but drapes nicely and isn't too clingy. I love the short sleeves and capri length pants. After I ordered online, I saw that they do have them in store.
Michael has some of these, and wanted more for work. They are labeled as jeans, but they are really more of a sturdy canvas fabric that is great for a casual office environment. He also wears dress pants, but switches things up with these casual pants about once a week. From Walmart.

Lol! Our Jack doesn't play well with other dogs, either. He has little man syndrome. I would love to leave him at a doggie daycare, but I'm afraid they would be calling me to come pick him up! Great list, Tanya!
