Prime Purchases

Hey y'all!  It's really hard for me to believe September is already here. 2026 is flying by!  Although we have months of hot weather remaining here in Houston, I will be pulling out the fall decor and burning the vanilla, apple and pumpkin scented candles promptly during the first week of September!

This month I have a little bit of everything in my Prime Purchases shopping cart.  Let's get started.

Be sure to let me know what you've been "adding to cart."  Also, I've been playing around with the idea of re-starting my Prime Purchases link party in the new year.  Would you be interested?

I'll start with some of Grace's Prime Purchases.  Even though she pays for her own orders, we still share a Prime account.  She did a little wardrobe refresh, and I loved her picks.  She liked this cotton knit striped shirt so much that she ordered a second color!

Y'all know that I am a "jeans" gal.  Well, my daughter is not!
This skirt is another item that she ordered a second color.

This looks so comfy.  It is unique in that it zips open from the top and the bottom.
I think stripes are having a moment this fall!

Grace loved these comfy pants.
And that concludes Grace's wardrobe refresh!

I have some Kitchenaid potholders and absolutely love them.
I ordered these silicone lined potholders to pack for Jack's kitchen.

I am enjoying my fall themed dot art while I watch You Tube videos or listen to audiobooks.

I use this as a leave-in conditioner/styler on wet hair and then again as a heat styling product on dry hair with my curling iron or flat iron.  So far, I love it!
Our heat'n'humidity requires extra hair styling products!  I rub some of this cream in the palms of my hands to smooth my hair when I wear it down or to help slick it back into a ponytail.

I ordered this Maybelline stick foundation to take on our vacation.  The less liquids the better!

Alas, it seems that my favorite lip gloss (Elf Lip Plumping) was discontinued.  This Maybelline is my second favorite, and I ordered a new one.

These packable laundry detergent sheets will be great to pack in our bags.  I won't need them on the trip, since we will just be gone a week.  But the kids are staying longer and will need to do some laundry.

These are a necessity when there is a snoring spouse (me!) in the room.

I mentioned earlier that Mollie was not as interested in her food since Albie passed away.  So far this has been the best solution.  It is a "topper" for her food - a powder of beef liver sprinkles.  I shake a little on top and then shake her bowl to distribute the powder throughout the dry food.  I was looking for something that would be easy to take to the kennel when we board her.

Wide Leg Pants |  Barrel Travel Pants (see below)

I am cheating a little on this one because I returned some of these.  I was looking for a pair of "travel" pants to wear on the plane - comfortable yet nice looking.  I'm linking them because they might be something you're interested in, even if they didn't work for me.

CRZ Straight Yoga Pants - very athletic looking

G4 Yoga/Work Pants - online influencers make these look like they are dress pants, but they are actually just yoga pants with faux pocket/zipper detailing

Wide Leg Pants - super comfy, very thin fabric, would be great for lounging

Barrel Travel Pants - These were the winners!  There are two varieties that I ordered, and I ended up keeping both.  The fabric in this version does not have as much stretch and looks a little nicer.  The fabric in this version has more stretch and a flowy look.  I think both look a little elevated from an athletic look.

  Thank goodness for free returns!

I mentioned in an earlier post that we picked up this duvet cover and shower curtain for Jack's new apartment.  I was so impressed with the quality of the Threshold duvet cover from Target.

You can see all the books I read last month here on my Books blog post or on this page of my storefront.

  2. Great picks, Grace! They look like maybe trip purchases? I love the idea of the laundry sheets.
I would like the link up. Would you allow Walmart and Target purchases, too? If not, I still get a lot of info. from reading all the Prime stuff. I am trying to rely less on Amazon but it's so hard. They often have the best price!

  3. Yes! I "say" I would do a linky party - and always "mean" to - but I really would try!! I get a lot of inspiration (and find myself buying) from other people's recommendations. I love Grace's picks, thanks for sharing those too. I might pass on the idea of the food sprinkle for the dog food - I think my daughter's dog is just bored with his food. I like an "airplane" outfit too - glad you found something you like :)

  5. Grace seems like she's been influenced by some of the same people I have! I've been wanting a striped shirt so I'm going to check out the one she chose. Yes, I would definitely do your link party! Also, I just reopened a storefront on Amazon too!

  10. Grace has excellent taste in clothes! I would buy every single one of those! I especially love the pants, but I always worry I can't pull off stuff like that. I still post my Amazon purchases every month so I would definitely link up should you decide to do the link party again.
