How was your reading year? I had a good reading year, although not as many books read as the previous year. I fizzled a little at the end of the year. In fact, I didn't even write a December books post since I only read 2 books. Here they are:
December Books
The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan - 3 Stars
The Personal Assistant by Kimberly Belle - 4 Stars
I had a hard time picking just one or two favorites for the year, so I listed several of the best of the 5 star books from my 2022 reading.
Are we friends on Goodreads? I love to get recommendations from the people I follow there. Goodreads is a fun way to track your reading.
I don't usually write reviews, but I always give a star rating as I finish books.
Which books were my favorites this year? It was so hard to pick! There were so many that really stuck with me and made a lasting impression. But if I had to choose just a few to recommend from 2022, here are my recommendations. You can see all of my 5 star books marked in my final list below.
And finally, what was your FAVORITE book from 2022?
I can't wait to hear your recommendations!

I've read 4 of 5 of these and all were favorites for me too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! I added several to my list for 2023. My favorite book this year was a tie: they were After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Loving My Actual Neighbor by Alexandra Kuykendall. My book review will be posted tomorrow or Saturday...I can't remember which.
ReplyDeleteI've only read one of your favorites but I can't wait to check out the others!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like them!
DeleteI just picked up the Majorie Post book. Can't wait to read it. My favorite book of the year was Becoming Mrs. Lewis.
ReplyDeleteI've meaning to read Mrs. Lewis. Thanks for the reminder...I just checked it out on audio.
DeleteI joined Goodreads earlier this year and I still haven't done anything with it. I need to get it set up!
