Choir banquet - another end of the year event to check off the list! Last year, we were able to go to a smaller choir awards assembly, but this year it was a full banquet with a seated dinner at the events center attached to our district's fancy new stadium. I'm still so thankful that Covid restrictions have eased up for Jack's senior year!
Michael found this tie in his closet and passed it on to Jack. He decided the choir banquet was a good time to wear it for the first time.
I was recognized for being on the Choir Booster Club Board.
Grace sat with Jack and his friends.
Here is Jack with his choir teachers. We are so thankful for all their hard work and dedication to the students and the choir program! They really make it a family environment that is very supportive for the kids.
We were proud of all of Jack's awards. He was recognized for being the logistics chair for the choir council, as well as the bass section leader for Chorale. In addition, he was voted by the students to be the most likely to become a choir director. He also got this when he was a freshman! And finally, he received the Director's Award for Chorale.
At the end of the banquet, all the seniors lined up. Mrs. Wilson gave them each a plaque and a handwritten note. Then we all sang the school song together. It was such a special night!
We are so proud of Jack's involvement in choir throughout high school.

We have Gabbie's dance banquet this week. It's not a dinner though, that would be nice!
